April Mini Sprint Challenge: Color Swatch Challenge!

Color mixing is at the heart of what you do as an artist. You see a color, you mix it. You see another color, you mix it.

But you quickly find it’s not as simple as that.

Seeing colors is complicated. Mixing colors is complicated. Figuring out color within the context of your painting is complicated.

This is why for 1 week, April 1-7, in the Podcast Art Club we are going to focus using our own colors to mix a single color swatch each and every day OUTSIDE of painting a painting. On day 7, I'll share the reference photo all the colors came from.

Share your work here on Instagram or for a bit more privacy, inside the private Podcast Art Club Facebook Group.
